CREATE CUSTOM TRACKS

The Track Editor allows you to build your own racing circuits from the ground up. You can design layouts, shape the terrain, define sectors and start-finish lines, and place essential elements such as paddocks, barriers, buildings, and trackside objects to create a complete and functional racing environment.

WALKABLE PADDOCK

The Alpha already features a fully explorable paddock environment with Paddock and your own Truck. Talk to team members and staff, walk from your team truck to your car and go to the track!

VEHICLE SYSTEM

The cars in the Alpha already include a wide range of simulation features, such as Driving & Physics, Tire Systems and more Advanced Features.

SIMCADE HANDLING

The simcade handling system combines realistic driving behavior with accessibility. The car features dynamic oversteer and understeer characteristics, while force feedback support for steering wheels enhances immersion. The handling model can already be customized through editable modding files, making it one of the first modding entry points.

WEATHER & VISUAL EFFECTS

The Alpha already introduces early environmental systems, including dynamic track wetness without visible rain, a darkened sky with reduced visibility, water spray effects on wet surfaces, visual tire reflections and rain lights, as well as additional VFX such as gravel and grass interaction and realistic wet surface behavior.

MODDING

Even in its early state, Formula Circus already supports basic modding functionality, allowing players to modify aspects such as names of teams, drivers, and other in-game elements, as well as adjust vehicle performance. This level of openness lays the groundwork for a much larger modding ecosystem, where players will eventually be able to fully customize and expand their own version of the game.
